'Where the Wild Things Are' the film is the adaptation of Maurice Sendak's legendary children's story in which Max, a disobedient little boy, is sent to bed by his mother without any supper. Feeling hurt and unloved, he channels his anger, and instead of continuing his mischievious antics in his room, he creates his own imaginary world which includes a forest, a massive ocean and a small boat, which he uses to sail away to a land inhabited by monsters - Wild Things - who crown him king.

According to some this is an absolutely must see film for both children and adults alike. Be prepared though, this is not your everyday animated cartoon. This film is very real and in parts raises challenging thoughts and questions for children and their parents. If you want to watch a classic film and get back in touch with your inner child then this is the film to do it.

The film is released on the 11th December 2010 so watch out for it at cinema's near you.

Here's a review. Read it before you decide to go and see it.
