Children are now welcomed at any age from three to seven when they automatically transfer to the main school. Class sizes in Little Moffats never exceed 12, giving all children a great deal of individual attention. A typical day lasts from 9am to 3.30pm, although morning-only sessions are available for the younger children. Pre and after school care is also available to help busy families. A solid grounding in English and Maths is complemented by a broad range of activities in and out of the classroom, many of which make use of the beautiful private grounds. Optional extras include riding on the school's ponies, dance and instrumental music. Main school academic standards are high, with scholarships being awarded regularly.Drama, music and the barts are important elements of life at Moffats, as is daily sport. Children are encouraged to have fun, to work hard and to achieve to the best of their ability. For more information and to register a child, please contact Moffats on 01299 841230. Standard nursery funding is available. The next open day is on Thursday 8th March, from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Families are also welcome to have a private visit if it is more convenient.
