Located on the Apley Estate and within farm buildings, the shop will contain the National Trust range, including charity Christmas cards, calendars and books, as well as a wide selection of festive decorations and gift ideas. There will also be gardening gifts and the chance to order winter supplies of logs. The shop will be officially launched on Friday, October 21 at 10am, with the first 100 customers through the door receiving a 20 per cent discount on their purchases and a champagne reception. Enterprises manager, Tessa Lovell said:"We are delighted to have this opportunity to launch a temporary outlet within such beautiful and popular surroundings as Apley Farm Shop. "Last year we opened a successful Christmas shop in Bridgnorth so this year we decided to branch out into the wider rural community." Retail manager Kirsty Cameron said:"This is the perfect opportunity for us to support a fellow rural estate and offer a Christmas retail experience in Norton. "We will be selling the National Trust Christmas range as well as gift-wrapped National Trust membership, which is a great present that lasts for a whole year." The Dudmaston Estate Christmas Shop will be open seven days a week from 9am to 6pm, up to New Year's Eve. For more information contact Tessa Lovell on 01746 780866.
